Keeping it Fun

  • Invite a friend to run or walk with you.
  • Sign up for a 5k with friends and co-workers.
  • Join a running group or club.
  • Pick an enjoyable place to run.
  • Get your family involved. If you have small children, you can run/walk while pushing a stroller. If you have a dog, take your dog with you so you both can exercise.
  • Choose your races wisely (i.e. women-only races, charity races, scenic races) that fit with your interests.
  • Follow the tips for safe running and preventing injuries.
