PHARMACOTHERAPY
Pharmacotherapy
for smoking treatment includes Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), and Zyban (Bupropion HCL). These have been shown in randomized clinical trials to approximately double success rates in adults. Each of the links below offers considerations for prescribing these medications. Note that not all patients have prescription drug coverage.
